Prams

BabyCarriages in Glen Huntly have prams and strollers to suit all families. Your location, needs, how often you drive or walk will determine the pram solution that works for you and we can help you find the right one.  The better prams can usually be paired with a carry cot and/or a infant carrier from Maxi Cosi, Joie etc.

There are 4 main pram categories to consider

• 4 wheel prams are stylish and practical that normally include a carry cot/bassinet that enables your baby to sleep for longer. They generally have a structured seat that can be both parent facing and then world facing.
• 3 wheel prams are great for all terrain, parks or for the active who do a lot of walking, jogging and running.
• Strollers are usually smaller, face outwards only and can sometimes be taken as hand luggage on a plane. Some can be used for newborns + whilst others 6 months+.
• Twins or Tandem prams can be side by side or in-line. For twins or a toddler and newborn. The misconception that these prams are much wider than singles is incorrect, it is often only 10 cm. Check out our double prams section or the best option is to come in and talk to us.
